Wildly Biased Show: Week #5

Well hello again, podcast fans!  Welcome to Week #5 of the Wildly Biased Show!

The Wild are 2-0 at home this season and Phil & Trevor are back to break it all down. In this week's show they discuss the predictability of the Wild's loss in Anaheim, the trouble with trying to defend Shawn Horcoff, a solid win at home against the Jackets, the end of the Todd Richards Era, the beginning of the John Tortorella Era, exactly what went wrong for Columbus this season, Thomas Vanek's motivation, Mathew Dumba's struggles, the re-emergence of Marco Scandella, Charlie Coyle's struggles at center, the weird bond between the Blue Jackets & the Rangers, Stockholm Syndrome as a coaching technique, Ryan Suter's feisty new style, the significance of a Wild/Blue Jackets game in October, and just what the hell "Blue Jackets Hockey" means.

They also take their weekly trip around the league to discuss Connor McDavid's coming out party, the Cold War, how the Blackhawks will cope with the loss of Duncan Keith, how the Blues will cope with the loss of Paul Stastny, the amount of "talent" Todd Richards has worked with over the years, the likelihood of Montreal going undefeated this season, Zac Rinaldo's latest transgression, the universal sadness that comes with Kari Ramo's demotion, and the renewed Battle Of Alberta.

As always, the show's free to stream.  Also, as always, be aware that we use some big-boy language on the show.

They'll be back next week to discuss the f rematch with the Ducks, the first round of this year's slugfest with the Jets, Connor McDavid's first appearance in St. Paul, and whatever else happens around the league.

As always, feel free to drop us a line here on the blog or via e-mail (WildlyBiased@gmail.com). You can also hit us up on Twitter (Phil at @Phileeeeeeep and me at @WildlyBiased). We'd love to discuss the Wild, the NHL, or, really, whatever you feel like talking about. We try to keep it open around here.
